Complete shutter down observed in IHK

Complete shutdown was observed on Saturday to protest against Indian government's move to convert Kausarnag in South Kashmir into another Hindu pilgrimage spot in the territory. Call for the shutdown has been given by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, and senior leader of Hurriyet Conference Jammu and Kashmir, Shabbir Ahmed Shah.
All shops and business establishments, transport were closed. The puppet authorities have imposed undeclared curfew in Khanyar, Nowhatta, Rainawari, M R Gunj and Safa Kadal areas of occupied Srinagar. Indian police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in strength in Srinagar and other major towns to prevent people from staging demonstrations against the move. The authorities continued to place Hurriyet leaders including the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Gilani and Shabbir Ahmed Shah under house arrest while Muhammad Yasin Malik in police station to stop them from leading the demonstrations.
