Provincial President, ANP Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said PTI Chief Imran Khan instead of embarking on long and short marches should work for strengthening democracy in the country. Addressing a function held on the occasion of the handing over of the donations, on behalf of ANP Saudi Arabia in Hoti House, Mardan, former chief minister said the ANP will never allow the derailment of democracy.
District President Himayatullah Mayar, General Secretary Latif-ur-Rehman and office bearers of ANP Saudi Arabia also addressed the function. He said ANP played major role in the political awareness of Pakhtuns, saying currently the country is facing a big crisis. He said the protection of the frontiers of the country is the responsibility of military and its involvement in political issues will not usher in any good for the country.
Ameer Haider Hoti called for early completion of Waziristan operation to initiate rehabilitation of the IDPs and introduce constitutional and political reforms in the area. He on this occasion also announced the construction of monuments in the memory of the martyrs of the war on terror and establishment of special funds in that regard. He said for the salvation of the country, 850 followers of Bacha Khan sacrificed their lives to strengthen the philosophy of non-violence and peace.
Speaking on the occasion, provincial General Secretary Iftikhar Hussain said the champions of bringing revolution are spreading anarchy in the country. He said current situation in the country is not suitable for politicking for both Federal and Provincial Governments.
