The inquiry tribunal comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najafi of Lahore High Court to ascertain the facts and circumstances of the incident at Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat in Model Town has handed over its inquiry report to the Secretary (Home), Government of Punjab.
According to details, LHC Chief Justice Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmad on request of Government of Punjab had appointed Justice Ali Baqir Najafi as one man Tribunal of Inquiry under Section 3 of the Punjab Tribunals of Inquiry Ordinance 1969, for making inquiry and to ascertain the facts and circumstance of the incident at Minhaj-ul-Quran Academy and Secretariat in Model Town, Lahore on June 17, and the Tribunal started its proceedings on June 18. Now, the Tribunal has finalised its findings and handed it to the government without sharing its details with the media.
