After the success of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 3 final in Karachi and rift between Pakistan Cricket Board and Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), authorities are now considering to host the entire edition of next year’s league in the country.
With the improving law and order situation in the country day by day, the revival of cricket in Pakistan is coming closer, as hosting of PSL4 would be a ray of light. This huge decision is expected to be made in a meeting scheduled to take place on June 12, Express Tribune reported.
PCB asked the UAE cricket authorities not to host any T20 league during the window of October to March, otherwise, they will look for an alternative venue to host their home series as well as the lucrative PSL.
However, ECB gave little attention to PCB’s words and they have announced their own T20 league that is likely to take place between December and January.
Moreover, Afghanistan Cricket Board has already announced that they will host their league in October, while T10 League is likely to be played in November in the UAE.
PCB had initially planned to host half of the league in Pakistan but due to recent developments, the board is now considering to host the entire edition of the league in the country.
