Law, order improving in Karachi: IGP Jamali

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali has said that in order to maintain peace in the metropolis, entry and exit points of Karachi are being strictly monitored by Police, Rangers and CPLC jointly. He was addressing a seminar organized by CPLC at a local hotel, said a statement here on Monday.
CPLC Sindh chief Ahmed Chinoy, Senator Abdul Haseeb, Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, AIG Karachi Ghulam Qadir Thebo and others also addressed the seminar. The police chief said that law and order situation of Karachi has improved and Karachi police is working hard for its betterment. He told that 250 jawans of police had martyred in the year 2013 while 102 police officers and jawans martyred during current year.
