At least four people were killed while four others were injured in separate incidents of violence here on Thursday. According to police and rescue sources, two people named, Abdul Samad, 28, son of Dawood, Shoaib, 25, son of Shahjahan were shot and killed by unknown persons in Lyari Kamela Bus Stop. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for post-mortem examination. Both deceased were said to be residents of said area.
In a separate incident, a person, aged about 35, was gunned down by unknown assailants near Baldia, Saeedabad. The body was shifted to CHK for post-mortem examination. A body of man, 30, was recovered from inside a house located in Liaqatabad No-5. Boy and girl named Irfan, 25, son of Abdul Rasheed, and Sumera, 13, daughter of Nano, were injured by unknown armed persons near Abul Hasan Isfahani Road. The victims were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
Naseem, 21, son of Attaullah, a resident of Baldia No- 51/2, was injured by unknown persons near Zaman Cold Drink located near his residence. He was rushed to CHK for medical assistance. In another incident, Zahid, 22, son of Yousuf, was shot and injured by unknown persons near Chanesar Goth Mehmoodabad. He was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.
