The 68th Independence Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm, zeal and national spirit at Headquarters Civil Aviation Authority in which CAA employees including Directors and General Managers participated along with their family members. Air Vice Marshal Khawar Hussain, Deputy DG CAA hoisted the national flag while playing national anthem. After flag hoisting ceremony, the Deputy DG CAA conveyed message of Air Marshal Muhammad Yousaf (Retd).
At this occasion, he urged upon the employees that it was not only a day for rejoicing but a day for accountability also. It was the day to reassure that all of us would work with dedication, honesty and responsibility for the betterment of our organisation in particular and for the country in general. Deputy DG CAA also threw light on various aspects of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's life which reflects dedication, honesty and sincerity and above all not taking undue advantage of the position and his belief on pure merit and no recommendations. He further stated that if such noble ideals are practiced in our day to day life, we can achieve the goal of making Pakistan a true Islamic State as conceived by our Father of Nation.-PR
