Imran and Qadri in Islamabad

"Under no circumstances will you resort to violence or militancy," a roaring Dr Tahirul Qadri asks his followers in Islamabad where his organisation has staged a sit-in with a view to ushering in a 'Green revolution' and toppling of PML-N government.
"Parliament and provincial assemblies should be dissolved and cabinet dismissed," Qadri says, adding he wants a revolution. According to him mid-term election cannot resolve the crisis. He declares he will soon announce a frame-work for revolution." Qadri seems to have effectively eclipsed Imran Khan and the latter's show in the federal capital. By making it clear that he would not even countenance the mid-term elections, he has unveiled an agenda which is clearly different from Imran's.
