PAT's rally far bigger than that of PTI: Sanaullah

17 Aug, 2014

Former Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Saturday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan did not spell out any fresh point in his speech, adding the PTI chief went away from the rally venue to fall asleep at his cozy residence with no new Pakistan created, as was being claimed.
In a TV interview at wee hours on Saturday, he challenged his party would hold a bigger rally than the PTI's, provided that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was given merely ten days. He claimed the PML-N's rally would be far larger even without the participation of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Reacting to the PTI's demand to unseat Mian Nawaz Sharif, Rana Sana said Imran Khan was rearing to become the premier of Pakistan; however, he remarked no one can assume this office by organising a mass rally alone. Hence, holding a large public gathering makes no difference; Imran should sit down for negotiations, he asserted. Substantiating his argument, he went on to say, "Dr Tahirul Qadri's public gathering is far larger than that of the PTI."
Nawaz Sharif will personally visit Bani Gala, if so Imran wishes, the former Punjab law minister observed, and continued, "The PM has no ego when it comes to the national progress. And, I am all set to be host for Imran, if he is willing to come." He queried as to why the PTI formed a government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, had there been riggings in the polls; Imran Khan should dissolve the KPK government over the rigging charges.
