Punjab government has on Saturday dispatched 12 trucks of relief items for the people affected due to heavy rains in Peshawar, which included 4500 food hampers and other relief goods. The Chief Minister while expressing deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives and properties in Peshawar due to rains said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government is standing with the affected brethren and sisters in this hour of distress.
He also said every possible help will be extended to the rain affected people and more relief items will be sent for them according to their need. Helping the affected Pakhtuns brothers and sisters is their national and religious obligation.
