The futures spread decreased by 455 basis points during the outgoing week ended on August 15, 2014 to 6.65 per cent. Trading activities on the futures counter increased during the week as average daily volumes surged by 70.7 per cent to 17.79 million shares. The average daily trading value also mounted by 47.7 per cent to Rs 1.962 billion.
