Indus in low flood at Kalabagh, Chashma barrages

After scattered rains in the catchment areas of the rivers up country, mighty Indus is in low flood at Kalabagh and Chashma barrages with respective flow of 2,51,200 cusecs and 2,82,000 cusecs of water, Flood Forecasting Centre said here on Sunday.
It said the river Chenab is in low flood with a flow of 97,200 cusecs at Marala head-works near Sialkot, river Kabul is in low flood at Nowshera with running water of 44,800 cusecs and river Ravi in low flood at Balloki with flow of 41,000 cusecs.
It said rain, thunder shower occurred at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Punjab, Malakand, Hazara, Sukkur and Larkana divisions during past 24 hours.
