Pakistan Muslim League (Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that they were not demanding resignation of the Prime Minister through the force of gun but it is demand of the masses. In an interview, Shujaat said the PML-N leadership is left with no option but to resign. He said the ruling party has not fulfilled a single commitment made to the people and as a result tens of thousands of people have come out on roads.
The PML-Q chief said the demand from Nawaz Sharif to resign is according to constitution and law. He said they never talked about derailment of democracy and imposition of martial law and instead they believe in real democracy and rule of the people. In reply to a question, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said ultimately Nawaz Sharif would have to surrender to the demand of the people and resign from his office.
