District administration Peshawar arrested 43 persons including hoteliers and butchers for violation of meat holiday in the provincial metropolis. On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Syed Zaheer-ul-Islam Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs) conducted raids in different bazaars and arrested 43 persons including hoteliers and butchers for selling of meat on meat holiday on their restaurants.
The district administration also conducted operation against mixing of chemicals in juices and arrested 24 juice sellers from University Road, Phase III Chowk and Board Bazaars.
