KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak expressed deep sense of shock and grief over the demise of Squash legend Hashim Khan who breathed his last the other day. The Chief Minister in a condolence message paid him rich tributes on his meritorious services for promotion of the sport of Squash in the country and giving the country and the nation global fame due to his continuous wins in every tournament.
Similarly he said late Hashim Khan was in fact an academy in his person by producing Squash players of world class. Pervez Khattak said the vacuum created due to the sudden death of Hashim Khan in the world of sports could not be filled for a long period. He said the govt and people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa would remember him for good as he said Hashim Khan carved a golden chapter in our history.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Urdu, Hindko poet and columnist Hussam Hur's father and former Director Colleges Allah Baksh who breathed his last the other day. Pervez Khattak also condoled on death of Abdul Wahid Khan, the nephew of Faiz-ur-Rehman Khan, ex-Bureau Chief of APP and senior journalist, who expired in Sweden the other day.
