Huge cache of arms seized: three miscreants held from Quetta, Dalbandin districts

Security forces detained three alleged miscreants and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from the outskirts of Quetta and Dalbandin districts. Home Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said this while briefing media at FC Madadgar Center here on Wednesday.
He said due to concerted plan devised by the Government of Balochistan for Independence Day, terrorists could not succeed in their nefarious design of attacking Samungli and Khalid Airbases adding that data of the residents including Afghan refugees living nearby localities of the Quetta Airport was being collected. About the seizure and arrest of miscreants, the minister said that on an intelligence report, raid was conducted in New Kahaan area in Hazar Ganji, Quetta.
Huge cache of arms including some 77 hand grenade, 107MM mortars, 120MM mortar rounds, 41 anti tank mines, 80kg explosives and other explosive material were recovered. However no arrest was made. Separately, three terrorists were arrested in a search operation conducted in Faisal Colony of Dalbandine. Huge cache of arms and ammunition were seized in the operation.
