Capital Development Authority (CDA) Deputy Director Muhammad Asghar Zardari has filed a petition against seven officers in Islamabad High Court. The petition prayed for issuing instructions that Muhammad Asghar Zardari should be appointed on a post in CDA keeping in view the seniority list of officers. The petitioner has stated that he has been working in CDA since 1996 and was promoted as Deputy Director in 2012.
His juniors have been promoted in Grad-19 and have been appointed as directors violating the principle of seniority. He should have been director according to the seniority list which has been violated by the CDA authorities. He has also attached affidavits showing that he has been discriminated. He has claimed that he should have been promoted according to CDA laws and according to the observation by the Supreme Court. He has claimed in his petition that his right has been usurped. He has also said in the petition that treatment meted out to him is against Article 4, 25, 27 & 38 and against the decision of the apex court which had ordered to promote officers according to their seniority. He has also prayed the court to cancel all those orders by the CDA authorities which have usurped his rights.
