YLC to begin from September 11

21 Aug, 2014

The annual Young Leaders Conference (YLC-2014) will be held from September 11 to 15 at a local hotel. Designed exclusively for 18 to 24-year-old youths from Pakistan and abroad, the YLC is the flagship programme of the School of Leadership (SoL). This year's project manager, Waqar Ali, said: "YLC is a transformative experience as it helps individuals identify their strength and weaknesses. It also inculcates a sense of responsibility, making us better citizens and human beings," he added.
The private sector has been instrumental in making the YLC a success. Participants of YLC, numbering around 300, will get the opportunity to learn from and interact with more than 50 leaders from the fields of politics, business, development, economics and culture. Leading speakers and trainers, including Kamran Rizvi, Shireen Naqvi, Nadeem Chawhan, Saima Khan and Umair Jaliawala, will also be present at the conference, he added.
