Negotiation only way out from imbroglio: JI leader

Provincial Ameer, Jamaat-i-Islami, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan has said that negotiation is the only way-out from the situaation confronting the country Addressing a meeting held under the auspices of Islamic Lawyers' Movement (ILM), lawyers' wing of JI here in Al-Markaz-e-Islami on Sunday, he said that the whole nation is concerned over the prevailing political situation, saying the politicians would have to show flexibility.
He said that reforms in election commission is need of the hour adding that they are in favour of such election commission, which would have its own effective financial and administrative powers. He said that the country is facing threats from all four sides and the country is need of such level of unity, brotherhood, peaceful existence, which was never required in past.
Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan said that the constitutions of 1956 and 1962 were abrogated and the constitution of 1973 was violated by Pervez Musharraf. He said that they did not want that third pay take benefit of the confrontation among politicians. He said that lawyers have heavy responsibility for the continuity of the democratic system and supremacy of constitution.
