I cannot even think of marriage: Imran

25 Aug, 2014

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's desperation to get married years after divorcing his former wife Jemima Khan has created waves but Kaptan clarified on Sunday he is in 'no hurry to walk down the isles'.
"I will not get married unless we make a new Pakistan. I would like to clarify that I have chosen a woman to tie knot with her. No, there is nothing like that [and] I want to make it clear I will not make any celebration at personal level unless I make a new Pakistan," Khan contended, after he announced a day ago that he is struggling for a new Pakistan so that he could get married. "Right now, I have no time to get married and I will get married when my dream of making a new Pakistan is fulfilled," said Imran, who is currently single, amid clapping from his tens of thousands supporters during an anti-government rally in front of Parliament House.
The 61-year-old, who has two sons - Suleman and Kasim - from his former wife, expressed a desire for the time publicly that he wanted to get married. There was a perception Imran among people, who is heading the third largest political party [PTI], might remain forever.
But Khan has negated the very impression by declaring that he was curious to tie the knot again but the only hurdle which bars him, is his dream of making a new Pakistan, for which he has been struggling for the last over 18 years.
