The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) attracted hundreds of students and professionals from the Lahore city on the Education and Career Expo held at local hotel recently. More than 25 institutes including ICAP, SKANS, PAC, and NACB&E Institutes participated and put up their information booths at the expo. Undergraduate students and graduates appeared especially interested in the stalls set up by ICAP MARCOM team. Students were provided career counselling services in addition to supporting students from admissions to the CA profession.
Rana Mohammad Iqbal Speaker of Punjab Assembly and Orya Jan Maqbool a renowned National columnist inaugurated the two-day event on Thursday morning. Rana Mohammad Iqbal congratulated the ICAP Team on its initiative to make the presence with vibrant and customised stall along with the other universities and colleges. He said activities such as the Express Education and Career Expo provide an important opportunity to facilitate Pakistani youth, which is the country's most important asset. The ICAP stall was visited by the large number of students along with the parents. Serving to its core purpose ICAP provided elucidative information regarding the scope of CA, admission routes, exemptions, fee structure, study packs and information about RAETS. The give-away packs containing the information material and souvenirs were also distributed amongst the visitors.-PR
