Six more killed in Karachi

At least six persons including a policeman were killed in separate incidents of violence in the city, while three bodies were also found here on Friday. According to police and rescue sources, police constable Lutfullah was shot and killed by two unknown motorcyclists near Ayyub Goth in the jurisdictions of Sohrab Goth police station.
Police said that Lutfullah was on his way to duty at Al-Asif check post at around 8 PM, when two unknown persons on a bike targeted him and managed to flee from the scene. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH). In another incident, a Grade-16 officer of Sindh Secretariat, Nadeem Ahmed Shaikh, 43, son of, Ashfaq Hussain, was shot and killed by unidentified persons in Shah Faisal Colony No 2 within the limits of Shah Faisal Colony police station. Police said that the victim was on the way to office on his motorcycle when he was intercepted and shot by two armed assailants on a motorcycle. The victim received five bullet shots and died on the spot. The slain officer hailed from Hyderabad and was presently living with his in-laws at Shah Faisal Colony.
On the other hand, three bodies of alleged Lyari gang war men were found packed in gunny bags from the outskirts of the city. The bodies of Rafiq Baloch and Naseer Baloch were found from Memon Goth, while the body of Pervez Baloch was found from Shah Latif Town. According to police, the victims were members of a notorious group of Lyari gangsters, Baba Ladla. In another incident, Ghulam Nabi, son of Pir Shah, was shot and killed by unidentified persons in Orangi Town, Sector No-7 in the remits of Orangi Town police station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem.
In yet another incident, Shah Wali, 30, was gunned down by unknown persons in Lyari, near Khada Market within the limits of Baghdadi police station. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital (CH) for autopsy. One Muhammad Shoaib was killed by unknown armed men near Noman Mosque, located in Lyari. Meanwhile, Irshad, son of Saghir, was shot and injured by unidentified men near Zubaida Hospital, located in the jurisdictions of Orangi Town police station.
