Government should resolve matters through negotiations: MQM

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) asks the government to resolve the political crisis through negotiations and requests the leaders of protesters to remain peaceful and show patience. A special meeting of the MQM Rabita Committee, Senate members, MPAs from Sindh and MNAs was held today (Saturday) in Karachi. The current political crisis in the country was discussed in detail by the participants in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Convenor MQM Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said MQM Chief Altaf Hussain's efforts for the survival and strengthening of democracy are adorable. He said it is the need of the hour that the government resolve the matters through negotiations. "Government is not taking necessary steps for the solution of the political turmoil," said Khalid Maqbool. MQM asked the government to seriously consider the legitimate demands of the protesters and adopt the path of negotiations and talks for resolving the political stalemate. They also asked the leaders of the protesting parties to show patience.
