Body of an army Jawan who laid down his life fighting against terrorists and militants in Mohamand Agency was laid to rest on Tuesday in his native village Loi, Taluka Faiz Gunj, district Khairpur with full military honour. Sajjad Hussain Shar had joined Pakistan Army some years ago and was posted recently in Mohamand Agency.
An army squad led by Brigadier Noor-ul-Hassan of Pano Aqil Cantonment along with Colonel Naseem and Captain Bilal, brought Sajjad's body to his village. They gave him army salute before and after the burial ceremony and hoisted a national flag at his grave. Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Shahzaib Husnain, SP Hadquarters Anwar Ali Bugti, DSP Faiz Gunj and a large number of notables of the area attended the funeral ceremony.
