Around 17,000 students, teachers visit PSF expo

Around 17,000 students, teachers and general public have visited international travelling Expo of Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and got first hand knowledge about water, its resources and proper usage. The Expo, travelled from Islamabad to Sargodha, Mirpur (AJK) concluded at Quetta with title-Water at Heart of Science-and was organized in collaboration with Centre Sciences-CCSTI, Orleans, France and French Embassy in Pakistan.
According to PSF here on Friday, the Expo gave more insight into the key role that research has to play in sustainable management of water as a vital, indispensable resource for development. At the inaugural ceremony, the experts delivered presentations on various dimensions of Hydroponic Agriculture in Pakistan and discussed its various aspects. The technical session was attended by university students, professors and researchers who appreciated PSF for holding such an informative event. Around 2,500 students and teachers from 20 schools participated. The next station of the expo was Sargodha where it was arranged at University of Sargodha. More than 7,000 students, teachers and general public visited the expo.
