11 Sep, 2014

Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said the government of PML-N and the people have foiled a conspiracy against democracy as the PTI and PAT sit-ins has met their logical end. He said the sit-ins are creating hurdles in Chinese investment for Diamir Bhasha Dam and other water reservoirs. He said the government is showing restraint against the unconstitutional and unparliamentarily demands of the protestors.
He said that Imran Khan should leave his stubbornness and hold dialogues with the government in parliament. He said that the demand of Imran Khan regarding resignation of Prime Minister on gunpoint cannot be accepted. He expressed these views while talking to media persons after inquiring about the health of those who injured due to collapse of the roof of a mosque in Daroghawala the other day at Services Hospital Wednesday. Hamza Shahbaz inquired about the health of Muhammad Rizwan and Zahid Bashir and prayed for their early recovery. He directed doctors to provide best treatment facilities to the injured. He disclosed that Rs 16 lakh are being given as financial assistance to the heirs of each person martyred in the incident of mosque.
He said that there is no justification of sit-ins after the offer of constitution of the Supreme Court Commission for investigation in alleged rigging by the government. He said that action should be taken against those who attacked parliament and PTV building in Islamabad under Article-6 but government is showing restraint. He said that those indulging in politics of dead bodies by making shield to women and children have to face humiliation and media has exposed them. Hamza said that loss of crores of rupees is being caused to the country and the nation through the sit-ins of Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri. He said that country's image is also damaging due to sit-ins.
