Punjab to promote international religious tourism for better economy

The Punjab government has decided to promote international religious tourism for strengthening the economy of the country. In first phase, the Punjab government has given task to the Punjab Planning and Development Board, Provincial Departments of Tourism, Archives, Archaeology, Law and Justice to make special arrangements for preparing and finalising the reports relating to concerned affairs about all Gurdwaras in the province.
Sources said that the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had told the participants during the meeting and clarified that our country Pakistan should benefit from the tourism industry of the China being the world's fourths largest industry.
