Pakistan on Thursday condemned recruitment and use of children in armed conflicts at the United Nation. Participating in the open debate at the UN Security Council, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Masood Khan called for stopping violations of children's rights and prevent their recurrence in conflicts.
Appreciating UN Secretary General and Security Council's role in protecting the children, Masood Khan said in the last fifteen years, significant progress has been made in protecting children's rights because of the Security Council's resolute effort and the Secretary General's effective outreach.
