PAF Hajj contingent leaves for Jeddah

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Hajj Contingent comprising 80 pilgrims left for Jeddah from PAF Base Shahra-e-Faisal by C-130. The PAF Hajj contingent was seen off by Air Vice Marshal Farooq Habib, Commandant, Air War College PAF, Air Commodore Shahid Latif Bajwa, Base Commander PAF Base, Faisal.
While talking to the Hajj pilgrims, Air Vice Marshal Farooq Habib said, "It's a matter of great pride and satisfaction that I am seeing off PAF Hajj contingent. I congratulate you for your selection to perform this sacred duty. It is expected that you will exhibit exemplary discipline and sense of patience. You are not only the representatives of a highly organised Air Force but also ambassadors of the country in the holy land. Hajj provides us an opportunity to shed away our mutual differences and flourish unity, sacrifice, equality and care. He also asked them to offer special prayers for the country, the armed forces and the PAF." The Hajj contingent included Officers, JCO's, airmen and civilian employees of the Pakistan Air Force and Ministry of Finance.-PR
