Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal on Friday has taken charge of Acting Governor Punjab due to departure of Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar to London. Sarwar is expected to be in UK for about ten days. Meanwhile Punjab Assembly Secretariat on Friday has notified Deputy Speaker Sher Ali Gorchani as Acting Speaker of the Assembly in absence of Rana Iqbal.
