Pakistan passing through critical juncture: Siraj

Central Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq has said that presently Pakistan is passing through critical juncture and their party is making all out efforts to bring it out. Talking to local leadership of the party in district Swat Sunday, he said that only way out of the current crisis in the country is negotiations. He urged both Imran Khan and Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri to show patience.
Those present on the occasion were included Ameer JI, district Swat, Dr. Fazle Subhan, general secretary, Hafiz Israr Ahmad, Khawaja Abdul Bari, Haji Fazal Wahid, Habibullah Saqib, Rasheed Iqbal and others.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that JI is playing the role of bridge at this critical stage and he even in his own capacity had also in constant contact with government, Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that he had stressed for the resolution of problems through negotiations and consensus as the only way out to the problems is negotiations.
He said that Pakistan is facing several challenges and the country is passing through difficult period, but they are of the view that if the parties exhibit patience and tolerance and come to table-talks for the resolution of the political crisis, then country could be got red of the looming threats.
He said that the derailment of democracy could inflict huge loss to the country, saying that success is only in sitting together to search out resolution to the problems. He pledged that JI will continue playing its positive role in the resolution of the ongoing political crisis or development and stability of the country.
Earlier, the JI chief visited the residence of former JI Swat Ameer and ex-Member National Assembly, Haji Khaliq Dad Khan and enquired after his health. He prayed for his early recovery.
