Another FIR registered against Imran

The Islamabad police on Monday registered another case against Pakistan Tehreek Insaf's (PTI) Chief Imran Khan for "forcefully" securing the release of his party workers from the police custody. According to the First Information Report (FIR) No 201 registered with the Secretariat Police Station, PTI chief Imran Khan and his associates stopped a police vehicle carrying the arrested PTI workers and got them released near Lake View Park and fled away.
Imran, who was on his way to his residence at Bani Gala when he heard the 'SOS' calls of his supporters. He came into action and forced the police to release his supporters. Police had arrested PTI workers for violating section 144. Police registered the FIR under section 353/188,186/224 and 225/144. The FIR also includes the names of Saifullah Niazi, Raja Ghazanfar, Raja Masood, Ali Shah, Khurram Nawaz and Jameel Abbasi. After the release of PTI workers, they were shifted to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) House. The Islamabad police have already registered FIRs against Khan in three other cases since his arrival here with thousands of his party workers to force Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign.
