On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded was recorded at PKR 4.689 billion as compared to PKR 3.668 billion registered on Thursday, up 27.81 percent. The number of lots traded was 17,950 and PMEX Commmodity Index closed at 2,984 Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 3.737 billion - up 40 percent, followed by gold amounting to PKR 879 million and silver at PKR 72 million.
