Six injured in Quetta bicycle blast

A powerful bomb left at least six people wounded in Quetta on Saturday night, a private TV channel reported. "The improvised explosive device was planted on a bicycle parked on Samungly Pnaj Futtee (5-feet) road. It went off with a loud bang injuring at least half a dozen bystanders", Superintendent of Police Saddar (area) told Samaa. According to sources, so loud was the explosion that windowpanes of many nearby buildings were completely shattered. The bomb disposal squad has been called in to clear the area. Rescue sources said that the injured were shifted to the nearest hospital.
