The Jamaat e Islami is holding a three day Ijtemah (congregation) at the Minar e Pakistan from November 21 to 23. It is expecting participation of lakhs of people from all over the country in the Ijtemah. A high level meeting held at Mansoora chaired by the JI Secretary-General Liaqat Baloch, on Monday, reviewed the arrangements of the programme. The JI Lahore chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed has been appointed Nazim for the Ijtema. He will be assisted by seven deputies.
