Policeman among five killed in Karachi

Policeman among five people killed in separate violent incidents in Karachi on Wednesday. According to police and rescue sources, a police constable No: 16150, Tahir Farooq, was killed when unidentified assailants lobbed a cracker on a police van near Erum Shopping Center located in North Karachi, in the jurisdiction of Taimuria police station.
The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. Police said Tahir Farooq was recently performing duty at the Taimoria PS. In another incident, Noman, 25, was shot dead by unknown people near the Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police station. He was said to be resident of Shadman Town.
A sexagenarian named, Allah Ditta, was crashed to death by a speedy train in Landhi, near Omar Colony. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for post-mortem examination. Anis, 45, was electrocuted in Kashmir Road, near PSO petrol pump. The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for autopsy. A man was gunned down by unknown armed people in Darya Abad of Lyari. The identity of the deceased was not ascertained till filing of the report. The body was shifted to the CH for medico-legal formalities.
