Overall law and order in Karachi satisfactory: IGP

Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh, Ghulam Haider Jamali, has said that overall law and order situation in Karachi is satisfactory. The IGP said that there was no major incident in Karachi, while several criminals had been killed and arrested. "Several criminals have been killed and the overall law and order situation in Karachi is satisfactory."
Jmali added that one year had passed since the launch of targeted operation in Karachi. During the period, targeted killings and crimes decreased in the city, he added. "The daily average killing in Karachi has decreased from 7 to 4.5," Jamali said. Special security arrangements were being made for Eidul Azha.
