Pakistan Awami Tehrik chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said on Sunday that people did not know about the rulers who siphoned off billions of rupees from national exchequer and then changed the black money into white through gambling. Addressing his workers at Azadi Square in front of the Parliament House, he said that the politicians take the looted money through their carriers to casinos in Colombo to turn it into white money.
"I can disclose names of these leaders and their carriers who are involved in the dirty business," he said, adding that they later turn the rupees into dollars and buy properties in foreign countries.
The nation has been trapped into corrupt system but from now onwards masses would not accept the corruption and corrupt rulers as they are convinced that the present system is adding to their agonies, he said.
Dr Qadri said that Pakistan was created for the people weal but the oppressors have occupied all the national resources. "I congratulate workers of the PAT for standing against the corrupt system, which has completely failed to resolve the problems of the oppressed," he maintained.
He said that his party has had a complete roadmap to introduce a well thought out system with the capacity to deliver economic and social justice besides, getting justice for martyrs of Model Town Lahore. "The government doesn't believe in independence of judiciary and rule of law. If an independent JIT is constituted, the killers will be apprehended," he said.
Dr Qadri threatened to take the issue to international organisations for seeking justice, if the JIT failed to complete its job independently. He also congratulated PTI chief Imran Khan and his workers on holding a massive rally in Lahore.
He said that people have wakened from the slumber of ignorance due to dharnas of PTI and PAT; and they have refused to bow down before the oppressors who are usurping their rights since decades.
"The day we will start visiting the length and breadth of the country, people will realise that the real revolution has brought a change in their lives," he said.
Dr Qadri also said that a change is quite visible now across the country due to struggle of the PAT workers. "I've struggled for the people of Pakistan for 33 years and I thank God that I've succeeded now," he said.
He said that Allah has bestowed the people with the spirit and courage that is needed to bring a real revolution in their lives. "This is the biggest dharna in the history of Islamabad and Pakistan and people are here to demolish the archaic system," he said. A large number of women, men and youngsters gathered to listen to the speech of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. They also chanted "Go Nawaz Go" slogans and demanded of the government to bring killers of Model Town to justice. Dr. Qadri also congratulated Imran Khan on successful public rally in Lahore.
