KARACHI: Prolific Urdu writer Mushtaq Yousufi passed away in a local hospital on Wednesday. He was 94.
He has been admitted in a local hospital of Clifton due to pneumonia where he breathed his last today.
Yousufi was born on September 4, 1923 in Jaipur, He came to Karachi after the partition and joined banking profession.
He wrote five bestseller books in Urdu. He was bestowed with Hilal e Imtiaz and Sitara e Imtiaz for his services in literature.
