Danish Aman has been unanimously elected as chairman of PLGMEA (southern zone) for the year 2014-15 at PLGMEA office NILT Karachi. He has been active in the industry of leather garment manufacturing and export since his return from America after completing a degree in business in 2004. Within no time, he transformed his unit from scratch to one of the largest leather garment manufacturers and exporter from Pakistan.
Working with international brands such as Next, River Island, Zara and many more. The industry which was once called a small cottage industry / handicraft was given a new professional meaning with high volumes and returns. Danish is the Managing Director of Hafiz Tannery which is now one of the leading tanneries and garment units of Pakistan with a production capacity of making 1.5 million sq. ft. finished leather and 60000 garments per month and employees around 2000 people. Known for his resilient dynamism, foresightedness and all-encompassing vision, he has been instrumental in providing impetus to the garment exports from the country and therefore hailed as a natural leader.-PR
