Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly Javed Naseem on Saturday raised the 'go Khattak go' slogan against PTI's own Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak, and announced to stage sit-in protest and produce evidence against the alleged corruption of the provincial government on October 15.
Javed Nasim said that he will 'expose' the self-interested group around party chief Imran Khan. He told a news conference while sitting on the ground outside the Peshawar Press Club. He said that the provincial government has failed to end the 'status quo'. He said the status-quo still exists in the province. He said that the group of self-interested people that is around Imran Khan doesn't let anyone else near the party chairman. He said that Chief Minister Khattak has disappointed the nation, adding that the nation will have to attain freedom from Khattak.
Javed Naseem said that the bills were passed in the assembly are still not implemented and the corruption could not be eliminated. He alleged that the ministers have taken the development funds for Peshawar to their own cities. He further alleged that corruption was at peak, while merit also completely ignored.
PTI MPA requested Imran Khan to "recognise your enemy". He said that the poor should not be sent to the assembly which is the 'club' of millionaires. Javed Nasim announced to stage sit-in protest and produce evidence against the alleged corruption of the provincial government on October 15. Javed and his friends also chanted the 'go Khattak go' slogan.
Meanwhile, CM Khattak countered Javed Naseem's allegations by saying that Naseem wanted a ministry and has started giving statements against the leadership for not getting what he wanted. According to Khattak, the posts of ministers and advisors are given on merit. The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf served notice to MPA Javed Naseem in violation of the party discipline and asked him to respond within next seven days, otherwise action would be taken accordingly.
