Visits border areas in Sialkot, Pasrur: Punjab chief minister distributes cheques among victims' families

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited border areas of Sialkot and Pasrur on Thursday and distributed cheques of financial assistance among the families of the citizens who were martyred due to Indian firing. Earlier, he went to CMH Sialkot and inquired after the injured persons.
Addressing public meetings during his visit to border areas of Charwah sector, Shahbaz Sharif said that unprovoked firing by India on unarmed, peaceful and innocent citizens was condemnable. He said that tension in the region was increasing due to Indian aggression and United Nations should take immediate notice and play its role. He said that India will have to change its attitude, as Pakistan being a nuclear power has the capability to reply to any act of aggression. Shahbaz Sharif said that unprovoked firing by India on Pakistani citizens was intolerable and the blood of the youth, women and elderly people who have sacrificed their lives for the country would never go waste.
The Chief Minister demanded that India should immediately stop its blatant aggression as 18 crore Pakistani people and armed forces of the country were fully united under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that Indian Prime Minister and its leadership should show a sane attitude.
He said that India was responsible for undermining peace in this part of the world. He said that the whole Pakistani nation condemns Indian barbarism and 18 crore people of Pakistan are standing shoulder to shoulder with their brave armed forces. The Chief Minister gave away cheques of financial assistance to the heirs of the citizens who were martyred due to unprovoked firing by Indian forces in Charwah sector. Earlier, he inquired after the persons who were injured due to Indian firing at CMH Sialkot. He went to every injured person, inquired about his health, presented flowers to him and prayed for his early recovery. The Chief Minister also gave cheques of financial assistance to the injured persons. He said that firing on peaceful and innocent citizens is cowardly and deplorable act.
