Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued instructions for effective implementation of anti-dengue plan throughout the province including Lahore. He said that nothing could be more precious than human lives and all out resources should be utilised for their protection. The chief minister directed that best care and treatment be provided to dengue patients in hospitals while special attention be paid to outdoor as well as indoor surveillance.
He further directed that the buildings not adopting preventive measures against dengue be sealed and action be taken against them under the law. He further directed that departments concerned and institutions should work with close mutual co-ordination and implementation of anti-dengue regulations be ensured at any cost.
