The post-Hajj flight operations started here on Thursday. As many as 600 pilgrims on various flights of Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Shaheen and Saudi Airlines International, have been arrived at Peshawar's Bacha Khan International Airport, according to Civil Aviation Authority. Tight security arrangements have been made during arrival of Hujjaj at Peshawar airport.
According to airport administration, a flight SV-798 of Saudi Airline arrived at Peshawar airport. A large number of relatives and friends of Hujjaj were present at the airport to welcome them. The hajjis were received and presented garland of rose. Pilgrims were being faced difficulties due to missing of luggage bags and inadequate arrangements by the airport authorities, it was reported. The pilgrims blamed the authorities for leaving canes of 'Aaby zam zam' of around 30 pilgrims and other luggage bags at Saudi Airport.
The Hujjaj were shifted to Qayyum Stadium Peshawar, wherein they were departed to their homes. Due to inadequate arrangements, the pilgrims also faced difficulties at Qayyum Stadium Peshawar.
Earlier, Director Hajj Shakeel Ahmad Sethi received pilgrims and congratulated them for performing Hajj. On the occasion, Terminal Manager Syed Latif-ul-Haq while talking to media persons said that the authority has been made foolproof security arrangements during arrival of Hujjaj at Peshawar Airport.
