Punjab Assembly condemns Indian aggression

Punjab Assembly in its 10th session here on Wednesday passed a resolution applauding Malala Yusufzai for winning Nobel Peace Prize-2014. In another resolution house unanimously condemned Indian aggression on Loc and working boundary. The resolution showed its sorrow on killing of innocent civilians by India. The resolution appreciated Pakistan Army for giving befitting reply on firing violations.
Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal on demand of ruling by opposition legislator Waqas Hassan Moakal regarding resignations of PTI members of provincial assembly was asked to keep calm. He said members of assembly of PTI were still legislators in his record.
Government legislators while entering discussion on political scenario particularly 'Dharans' appreciated stance of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in quitting dharna on Azadi Chowk. The house during the session passed 'The Punjab Institute of Quran and Seerat Studies Bill- 2014'. During the session on Transport, parliamentary secretary of the department stated that Rs 30 billion was spent on Metro Bus Project Lahore. He said all buses of Metro Bus belonged to a private company.
