Flood victims: TAQ body hands over relief goods to Army

A third truckload of goods consisting of quilts was handed over by 'The TAQ Organisation' to the Army relief camp set up at Fortress Stadium, Lahore for onwards distribution among flood victims.
Earlier, a second consignment consisting of a truckload of blankets and quilts for the flood victims was delivered by TAQ on October 22, 2014. The first consignment of relief goods by TAQ in the form of a three-truckload of essential dry food and household items was delivered to the Army authorities on September 24, 2014.
The TAQ Flood Relief Fund 2014 was set up to which contributions were made by the management and staff members, as well as customers and well wishers of the organisation from all over its countrywide network. As an organisation committed to corporate social responsibility TAQ had also helped the victims of the earthquake tragedy in 2005 and the flood affected people in 2007, 2010 and 2011 by providing relief goods and contributing to the fund managed by a trade body.
