Farhan Saeed is joining the list of singers who have lent their vocals to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, as the artist is collaborating with the party to sing its official song for Elections 2018 campaign.
General elections in Pakistan are less than a month away and while the daily dose of news updates have us riveted enough, the situation gets even more exciting when the entertainment industry gets on board.
Previously, many singers such as Salman Ahmed, Abrar-ul-Haq, Ataullah Esa Khelvi, Bilal Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan extended their support to party chairman Imran Khan by singing for PTI. This time Farhan has been trusted with the task to sing party official election anthem.
The singer-cum-actor took to Twitter to announce a promotional musical track dedicated for the party’s election campaign, after he met with PTI chairman Imran on Tuesday. He wrote, “I am thankful to Imran Khan and PTI for trusting me to sing their official song of Elections 2018 campaign. Further, I commend the efforts of PTI SMT and their support throughout.”

Meanwhile, Farhan currently is living out his dreams these days, as the singer was catapulted into overnight stardom after his stint on the famous show ‘Suno Chanda’ as Arsal, which earned him national recognition as he settled into the role of Pakistan’s new heartthrob. Although he had previously acted before, it was this drama that has put him on the map, and it’s only up and beyond for the singer-turned-actor as he just added a new feather to his cap.
