07 Dec, 2014

The chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that with the appointment of a new Chief Election Commissioner the election system will not change but what needs to be done is to overhaul the whole election system and bring in new reforms within the election system. He said with the presence of four old members what will the fifth member do?
Talking to newsmen from Houston hospital the PAT chief said that the rulers do not want to change the status quo and keep trying to bring in new faces but do not want to change the system. He said until the whole system is not revamped these new faces will not bring about any changes in the corrupt election system. The whole system has to be changed and overhauled, he said.
A statement released by the central secretariat in Lahore the PAT chief expressed his dismay at the police brutalities meted out on the blind protesters and said that when the murderer of 14 innocent PAT workers roam about scot free and are getting appreciation and are being rewarded, do what the blind expect from this government. Soon you will see these same policemen being awarded and rewarded for beating the blind people, he said. The PAT chief said these policemen will never be bought before a court of law and will never be awarded punishment; rather they will be rewarded for this inhuman act.
He said the rulers are bringing a bad name to Pakistan all over the world and no one appreciates such acts. He said that the government is again lying and the PAT has not been consulted at any level for the formation of the Joint Investigation Team. He said that his angiography will take place on Tuesday December 9. He asked his admirers to pray for his quick recovery so that he can come back and starts his Inqilab against the corrupt system once again.
