Wasan reviews security of Karachi Central Jail

Sindh Prisons Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wasan on Friday visited the Ghausia Coloney and surroundings of Central Prison Karachi (CPK) to review the security arrangements. Inspector General Jails Sindh, Nusrat Hussain Mangan and other officials concerned of the Sindh Prisons Department, accompanied Prison Minster said a statement.
The Minister directed the officials concerned to start the construction of 60-feet-high security towers, which is planned to be built beside the wall of jail adjacent to Ghausia Coloney. He was told that T-Wall has been built beside the wall adjacent to Ghausia Colony in accordance with the security plan. It was also informed to the Minister that the construction of Bomb -proof wall on the all four sides of the Central Jail is underway. The visitors allowed entering jail after passing through the walk-through gates and scanning of their luggage.
