NAB arrests official for holding four government jobs

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested official BPS-17 for holding four government jobs, NAB sources told APP here on Friday. "Accused namely Hizbullah Khan was attached with Balochistan Development Authority (BDA) as Site Engineer (BPS-17)," NAB official said. He was enjoying the financial benefits of NCL PIFRA and Directorate of Health Loralai as Vaccinator.
The accused were taking tens of thousands rupee and were not discharging duty at any of four offices in sheer violation of the government rules. The deceitful act of the detainee not only caused huge loss to the government wealth but also deprived the deserving candidates of job opportunities. The NAB official said that in the light of the information extracted from the accused, those who protected him while continuing with four jobs would also be arrested.
Meanwhile, NAB Balochistan regions also arrested an accused in the construction contract awarded to the C&W department for construction of MPA building. Abdul Rasheed was performing as head clerk Maintenance Division (BPS-14) in C&W department. He along with the contractors committed corruption in the MPAs building contract of Rs 680 million. The accused was hiding for last couple of months. On being informed, NAB team conducted raid in Dera Ghazi Khan and arrested him.
